The form of Reiki practiced at pur Urban Reiki is Jikiden Reiki.  Jikiden simply means “direct lineage”.  This is the original form of Reiki as it was intended to be handed down, without any alterations to the original methodology.

Reiki is a form of Japanese healing that works on both the physical and energetic body.  This natural form of healing is gentle yet powerful and helps to restore the natural flow and balance of Ki (life force energy) allowing the body to heal.
